Day by day this week

  1. 1 week 0 days (day 7)Your age matters when you're trying to conceive, because fertility changes as you get older.
  2. 1 week 1 day (day 8)You're likely to ovulate by the end of this week, so it helps to know the signs that you're at your most fertile.
  3. 1 week 2 days (day 9)While you wait to ovulate, your follicles are maturing in your ovaries, ready to release an egg.
  4. 1 week 3 days (day 10)You may not mind whether you have a boy or a girl, but some theories claim you can influence the baby's sex.
  5. 1 week 4 days (day 11)If this isn't your first month of trying, don't be too disappointed. It's normal for conception to take a while.
  6. 1 week 5 days (day 12)As your hormone levels rise around this point in your cycle, your libido might rise too.
  7. 1 week 6 days (day 13)This is a great time to conceive, but try not to focus on when you're ovulating and just enjoy sex.
