About Hello Little One

An independent guide for expectant and first-time parents in the UK, built around a short daily email that follows your pregnancy day by day.

Who's behind it

I'm Theo, and I started Hello Little One when my partner was pregnant with our first child.

What struck me most was how much information there was. Books, apps, leaflets, forums, and advice from everyone we knew. Nearly all of it was well meant and most of it was useful, but it was hard to know what mattered this week and what could wait. What helped most was a small dose each day: a short read about what was happening right now, so I could support my partner and knew what to focus on.

What's new

  1. May 2026

    Full pregnancy content rewrite

All 280 pregnancy days were rewritten. Week references are accurate to the exact day, baby sizes follow a consistent growth curve, and week numbering has been checked across every day. Postnatal content (days 281 to 322) is unchanged.

  2. May 2026

    Week and day counter corrected

The week and day counter in every email now shows "1 week and 0 days" on day 7, "2 weeks and 0 days" on day 14, and so on. Before, the week count was one higher than it should have been.

  3. May 2026

    Postnatal emails

The emails now carry on for 42 days after your due date, covering the first six weeks: recovery, feeding, the 6 to 8 week check, development, immunisations and postnatal mental health.

  4. May 2026

    Early arrivals

If your baby arrives before your due date, you can update the birth date and your emails switch straight to postnatal content. Update your birth date.

  5. May 2026

    Security improvements

Rate limiting on all public endpoints, rotated API keys, and HTTPS for all traffic.
