Day 32 of 280, first trimester
You are 4 weeks and 4 days
You're probably eager to know when your baby will be born, and you can work out your expected due date now.
248 days until your due date
Until you have an ultrasound in a few weeks, your due date is worked out by counting 280 days from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). At the dating scan, your baby will be measured and its age calculated, and the scan date will then be used because it's considered accurate.
It's natural to want to know your due date, but try not to get fixated on it. Most babies are born within about two weeks of their due date, and a baby born any time between 37 and 42 weeks counts as full term. So your due date is only an estimate, and your baby may come earlier or later.

When will your baby be born?
To find your expected date of delivery (EDD), or due date, you need the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). Count forward 280 days, which is roughly nine months and one week. For example, an LMP of January 1 gives a due date of October 8, and an LMP of January 13 gives October 20.
