Day 13 with your newborn
You are still healing 💛
It is easy for attention to move entirely to the baby. But you are still a patient too. Your recovery is not background noise.
Ask yourself what would make today 10% easier. A nap, a shower, clean sheets, a proper meal, fewer visitors, a cry, a walk, or help with feeding all count.
How you might feel
How you might feel
Pelvic heaviness, soreness, bleeding, and fatigue can continue. Worsening pain, offensive-smelling discharge, fever, or feeling acutely unwell should be checked.
Today's tip
Today's tip
Do one recovery-supporting thing before one house task today. Your body gets priority over the laundry.
